Cookie Policy
The Cosmo Clinic website only uses analytics and marketing cookies after you accept them. This page lists each one, says what it is for and how long it stays, and explains how to change your mind.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage and measurement pixels, work the same way and are treated here as cookies.
The controller for these cookies is GOGO CLINIC, LDA (Cosmo Clinic), NIPC 518 708 950, Rua Filipe Folque, n.º 30, R/C C, 1050-113 Lisboa, info@cosmo-clinic.pt. How the collected data is processed is described in the Privacy Policy.
2. How we ask for your consent
On your first visit a notice appears with three options: accept all, reject all or choose by category (statistics, marketing and WhatsApp chat). Until you decide, the site loads only what it needs to work. No category is pre-ticked.
Your choice is stored in your browser (cosmo_consent) for 6 months from the day you made it. After that, the notice appears again. You can change your choice at any time under "Cookie preferences", in the footer of every page.
3. Necessary cookies
These do not need consent. They only make the site work and store your choice.

4. Statistics cookies
Only with your consent. They show us which pages are read, where visits come from and where the site fails. We do not use them to identify you.

5. Marketing cookies
Only with your consent. They measure whether an ad led to a consultation request and show ads to people who have visited the site.

_gcl_aw and _fbc only appear if you reach the site through an ad.
6. Other technologies
The site's fonts load from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com). When your browser requests the file, it passes your IP address to Google. We do not use that connection to follow you.
The WhatsApp buttons open the WhatsApp app or website; from there Meta's policy applies. The WhatsApp chat widget on the site is provided by WATI (Clare.AI Limited, Hong Kong) and only loads if you accept WhatsApp chat in the cookie notice.
7. How to change your choice
You can change your mind at any time under "Cookie preferences", in the footer of every page. When you withdraw a category, the site deletes that category's cookies on the Cosmo Clinic domain and reloads the page. Cookies on another company's domain (IDE, MUID and the other Microsoft ones) can only be deleted in your browser settings.
Rejecting statistics and marketing cookies limits nothing on the site: you can read every page and request a consultation the same way.
8. Transfers and retention
Google, Microsoft and Meta may process data in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. Each cookie's lifetime is given in the tables; the data they collect is retained by each provider under its own policy.
9. Changes
Whenever we add or remove a tool, we update this page and the date at the top. If the change introduces new categories, the consent notice appears again.
