Botulinum toxin between the brows

Botulinum toxin relaxes those muscles. The skin stops being pulled to the centre and the line softens. You can still frown lightly; it no longer marks deeply.

An angry-looking result comes from relaxing the wrong muscles. We treat only the ones that pull the brows towards the centre; the ones that raise them stay untouched, so the expression survives and you can still frown lightly; it just no longer marks deeply. The review at day 14 exists for the fine-tuning: if anything needs adjusting, that is when we see it.

What causes the 11 lines?
The muscles that pull the brows towards the centre and down, every time you frown. Years of repetition crease the skin until the line shows at rest.
Does botulinum toxin prevent wrinkles?
It prevents the line that has not settled in yet. If the muscle stops creasing the skin for years, the resting wrinkle takes far longer to appear. That is why many people start with this area in their 30s.
Will my brows look stuck?
