Lip filler
A well-filled lip does not get noticed. What gets noticed is a rested face, a mouth with a border and a smile that has not changed. Hyaluronic acid puts volume back where it was missing, draws the cupid's bow and evens out an asymmetry you have always seen. One millilitre is enough for most people.
At the consultation we look at your mouth at rest, talking and smiling. We check the proportion between upper and lower lip, how thick the skin is and what you want to change. Only then do we decide where the gel goes. A lip with too much volume and too little border is what gives the "duck" look. Planning avoids it.
The session takes 30 minutes, with numbing cream first. It costs €189 per millilitre. If you ever want to undo it, hyaluronic acid dissolves with hyaluronidase.
What changes with lip filler
A hyaluronic acid gel injected into the lip for border, volume or hydration. More fluid gels define and hydrate; denser gels give volume. Choosing the gel is half the result.
Is it for you?
Naturally thin lips, the volume that goes after 35, an asymmetry between the two sides, a border that has faded. And people who had filler elsewhere and want it corrected. Not with an active infection in the area, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
What happens in the session
Numbing cream for 20 minutes. Then small deposits of gel with a cannula or fine needle, following the plan drawn at the consultation, and a light massage to even it out. Thirty minutes in all.
What you'll see, and when
The volume shows the same day. Swelling for the first 48 hours, sometimes a small bruise. The result that stays is the one on day 14.
After the treatment
No make-up on the area for 12 hours. No sauna, gym, alcohol or direct sun for 48 hours. Sleep on your back for the first two nights.
Why it looks natural
An artificial lip is almost always a planning error: dense gel where it should be fluid, volume where the border needed drawing. So the consultation comes before any needle. We watch the mouth at rest, talking and smiling, design the proportion, then choose the gel. One millilitre placed well beats two placed fast. The result is for your mirror; the street sees nothing.

Will I get duck lips?
Not with a good plan. The duck look comes from too much volume in the upper lip and too little border. We work on definition and proportion first, and volume after. If a very full lip is what you want, we tell you how far it makes sense to go in one session.
Is one millilitre enough?
For most people, yes. It is the amount that gives border and volume without changing the mouth. If the volume loss is large, it is better to place 1 ml now and assess a second millilitre after 4 weeks than to put it all in at once.
Does it hurt?
We apply numbing cream 20 minutes before and the gel itself contains lidocaine. You feel pressure and a light pinch; most people call it uncomfortable rather than painful.
How long does it last?
Between 4 and 6 months. Lips move a lot and hyaluronic acid breaks down faster here than elsewhere. A top-up every 6 months is usually enough.
How long will I be swollen?
The main swelling lasts 48 hours and there may be a small bruise. On day 14 you see the final result. If you have an event, book two weeks ahead of it.
Can I have it on the same day as another treatment?
Yes. It is common to combine it with cheekbone or nasolabial fold filler in the same session. Botulinum toxin too, as long as the areas are different.
What if I do not like it?
Hyaluronic acid dissolves with hyaluronidase, fully or partly, within hours to days. That assessment is free if the filler was done with us.
What should I do afterwards?
No make-up on the area for the first 12 hours. No sauna, gym, alcohol or direct sun for 48 hours. Sleep on your back for the first two nights. Sunscreen for two weeks.
