Hyaluronidase is the enzyme that dissolves hyaluronic acid. It undoes a filler that was overdone, has migrated, has formed a lump or simply is not what you wanted. Done here or elsewhere. The effect starts within hours and is complete in a few days.
We dissolve what is needed and no more. A small dose removes a local excess; a larger dose dissolves everything. At the consultation we see where the product is, what you want to keep and whether it makes sense to refill afterwards. We do a skin test first, because of the rare risk of allergy.
The session takes 30 minutes. It costs €150.
What changes with hyaluronidase
An enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid. Injected in the right spot, it dissolves a filler within hours to days, fully or in part. It does not act on fillers made of other substances.

When is it used?
When a filler is overdone, has migrated (a lip that "climbs" into the skin), has formed a lump, is asymmetrical or bluish, or when you simply do not like the result. And, rarely, in a vascular emergency, where it is the first-line treatment.
How fast does it work?
You see the difference within the first hours; the full effect takes 2 to 3 days. We reassess at one week and repeat if product remains.
Does it hurt?

Does it dissolve any filler?

Do you dissolve filler done at another clinic?
Yes. It is a large part of what we do with hyaluronidase. We assess the area and what you know about the product, and set the dose.
Is it safe?
It is an enzyme used for decades. The risk to keep in mind is allergy, which is rare; that is why we do a skin test before the first application. It also dissolves some of the area's natural hyaluronic acid, which rebuilds within weeks.
